2025 Spring Season
Welcome to GBA Little League! The 2025 vice president of LL is Greg Savikas. You may contact him directly at gsavikas@gmail.com. Spring 2024 registration for Little League is will be open November 29, 2024 through February 14, 2025. No late registrations will be processed.
The registration fee for spring 2025 Little League is $50, with a sale of a $10 discount Nov. 29th through Dec. 9th. If you have concerns regarding the registration fee, please contact Greg Savikas. GBA is committed to ensuring all players are able to play this season. Players will recieve a jersey, hat, and a chest protector shirt for the spring season.

Little League is open to boys and girls age 10, 11, or 12 on April 30, 2025. In other words, their birthdays fall between May 1, 2012 and April 30, 2015. There are not try-outs, but there is a required evaluation day to help make the teams fair and competitive. Players are also encouraged to sign up for the TK Winter Clinic through GBA to help with evaluation. (For 10U, 12U/Bronco CitisSports teams, there will be a tryout and separate evaluation based on our registration numbers and as determined by the GBA Board. Players interested in being considered for these teams should attend winter clinics as part of the evaluation process. Contact Greg Savikas with any questions about CitiSports/competitive teams.)
Little League at GBA is an in-house rec program. It is not affiliated with the "official" Little League organization. GBA teams will play other GBA teams in a regular season, and a short playoff and championship series. The season runs April through the end of June. Depending on weather and make-up games, there is a chance the season could go a little longer. LL games are played at Hammer Field. (For the 10U and Bronco/12U teams, there will be an additional season, but all competitive team players must also play rec ball.)

Experience in baseball is highly recommended for our LL players. All batters will hit against experienced kid pitchers.

Schedules will be determined closer to the start of the season. Typically, players can expect at least 1-2 practices and 1-2 games a week. Your player's coach will communicate with you directly about practice schedules.

There is a service/fundraising duty for all families of GBA players. For each player you register, you will need to work 2 pop stand shifts (usually 1.5 hours each shift). If you do not want to work the pop stand, you will have to pay a $50 opt-out fee per child when registering. The Pop Stand schedule will be assigned, although you may trade your assigned shift with another family. Each player will also be responsible for a $10.00 contribution to basket raffles for All-Star Day in June.
